Text-Incipit: To Handel’s pleasing notes as Chloe sung. -

Der Song handelt von einem entflogenen Goldfinken, dessen Besitzerin am Cembalo(?) mit Musik von Händel die Freiheit besungen hatte. Das Notenblatt enthält die Sologesangsstimme mit Cembalobegleitung sowie den bezifferten Generalbass des genannten Stücks. Es ist überliefert im sog. "Pleasure-Gardens-Konvolut", einer Sammlung von überwiegend gedruckten Notenblättern, wie sie in den Londoner Vergnügungsparks in der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts verwendet wurden.
