Das Abzeichen wurde für die erfolgreiche Arbeit in Jugendorganisationen überreicht.
Das runde Abzeichen ist von Ähren umkranzt, die mit blauen Schleifen umwickelt sind. In der Mitte steht mit goldfarbener Inschrift: "FÜR // ERFOLGREICHE // ARBEIT. Darunter die Embleme von der FDJ und der Jungpionierorganisation.
Auf der Rückseite befindet sich eine Anstecknadel.
