Description

Zu sehen ist der Marktplatz in Halle mit Blick auf die Ostfront der Marktkirche und Rotem Turm davor. Am Fuße des Turms erscheint noch seine steinerne Ummauerung im Sockelbereich, die um 1825/1826 entstanden ist. Ein paar Staffagefiguren spazieren auf dem Marktplatz umher. Das Blatt stammt aus dem Illustrirtem Konversations-Lexikon und ist koloriert. Es gibt eine zweite Variante in der Stiftung Händel-Haus, die dasselbe Motiv zum Gegenstand hat, aber eine andere Beschriftung besitzt und nicht koloriert ist (BS-IIa 71).
