Description

Zu Ehren des 25-jährigen Dienstjubiläums des Halberstädter Realschuldirektors Dr. Hermann Spilleke (1817-1885) entstand diese Medaille. Um 1879 hatte die Realschule ca. 480 Schüler und 22 Lehrer. Die Schule bestand schon vor der Reformation und war ab 1545 protestantisches "Martineum". 1865 war die Schule in ein neugotisches Gebäude am Johannesbrunnen gezogen. (Heinevetter)
