Der neuwertige Schuhspanner aus Holz ist von Anker-Spanner mit dem GH-Anker-Logo. Auf das Vorderblatt, das zur besseren Durchlüftung längs schlitzförmige Aussparungen hat, wurden innen die Modell- und Maßnummern „405 | 8-89 | 2" gestempelt. Der Schuhspanner füllt das Schuhvorderteil aus, wird nach dem Tragen in die Schuhe eingelegt und dient damit der Schuhpflege. Der Schuhstrecker wird mit dem Schraubgewinde auf die Schuhlänge eingestellt und mit dem Fersenstück verspannt.
