Der nach England ausgewanderte Gambenvirtuose Carl Friedrich Abel komponierte diese Triosonate in A-Dur für 2 Violinen und Basso continuo (Werkverzeichnis: Knape 121). Das Wasserzeichen des Papiers zeigt den Schriftzug "J. Whatman" sowie eine Lilie, ein Wappen und darunter "GR" (George III?). Der Papiermacher James Whatman war ab 1740 aktiv; die Abschrift entstand aber wohl in der 2. Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts.
