Die etwa um 1920 gefertigte Schellentrommel, auch Tamburin oder Rahmentrommel genannt, wurde mit einem naturfarbenen Fell bespannt. Das Tamburin wird mit den Fingern oder der Handfläche geschlagen und vor allem bei folkloristischen Tänzen verwendet. Es kommt aber auch als Orchesterinstrument zum Einsatz.
