Im VEB Traktorenwerk Schönebeck/Elbe wurde der Traktor RS08 als Geräteträger gebaut. In den Jahren 1951 bis 1953 wurde er basierend auf dem Maulwurf entwickelt und von 1953 bis 1956 gebaut. Die vollständige Typbezeichnung RS08/15 weist ihn als Rad-Schlepper mit 11 kW (15 PS) aus.
