Die Karikatur von 1813/14 zeigt mittig Napoleon, der auf einem Berg von Schädeln gefallener Europäer sitzt. Er trinkt ein mit Tränen gefülltes Glas und wird von Ergebenen hofiert. Die drei Blitze schießenden Adler über ihm symbolisieren das französische Heer. Verlegt wurde das Blatt von John Boydell in London. Drugulin sieht die Radierung in der Manier der Gebrüder Henschel.
