Das Flugblatt, entstanden zwischen 1584 und 1586, zeigt in Vogelperspektive die Belagerung von Burg (Terborg) am IJssel bei Doetinchem (Niederlande) am 31. März 1584. Die Belagerung fand im Rahmen des Kölner Krieges 1582-1589 statt. Die Radierung wird Franz Hogenberg zugeschrieben.
