Description

Es handelt sich um das Landheim bei Wittbeck am südwestlichen Rand des Naturparks Südheide, in dem die Künstlerin bei ihrem Heide-Aufenthalt im Juli 1916 genächtigt hat. Das Motiv ist identifizierbar durch ein Foto mit Beschriftung in NLM 14.
Ursprünglich handelte es sich um einen Schafstall. Eine Scheune bzw. einen Stall zwischen Bäumen in der Lüneburger Heide hat Dorothea Milde mehrfach aufgenommen.
