Unter dem Porträt eine sechszeilige Zweckinschrift auf Latein. Das Porträt ist in ein Passpartout eingepasst mit einer weiteren deutschen Inschrift: "Enoch Heiland aus Weißenfels Professor d. Jurisprudenz a. d. Universität Leipzig. gestorben 1639."
