Christian Friedrich Graf zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (1746-1824), einziger Sohn von Heinrich Ernst Graf zu Stolberg-Wernigerode, seit 1778 regierender Graf in Wernigerode (regierte bis 1809), seit 1772 Domherr in Halberstadt und von 1786-1796 Domdechant in Halberstadt und damit Vorgesetzter Gleims. Er S. war der Nachfolger Ernst Ludwig Christoph Freiher von Spiegels zum Desenberg. Er förderte das Schulwesen und stand mit Gleim in freundschaftlicher Verbindung. S. wurde im Gleim-Kreis in Anlehnung an eine Romanfigur des englischen empfindsamen Schriftstellers Samuel Richardson "Grandison" genannt.
