Dargestellt ist ein Mann in einer Rüstung mit Schärpe über der rechten Schulter und gefächertem Tuch um den Hals. Den linken Arm hat er scheinbar in der Hüfte abgestützt. Sein Gesicht ist zerfurcht und wirkt nachdenklich. Er hat eine voluminöse Perücke auf dem Kopf, die ihm in Locken bis zur Schulter reicht. Unter dem Porträt ist ein Textfeld (s.o.). Ein Rechteck umrahmt das Ganze.
