Description

Hieronymus kniet mit einem Bein auf unebenem Grund und Wurzelwerk. Er ist nach rechts gewandt und betrachtet mit offenem Mund ein Kreuz, welches er in der Hand hält. Sein Körper ist nur zu Teilen von einem Tuch bedeckt. Hinter ihm erhebt sich ein dicker Baumstamm, links davon schläft ein Löwe.
