Das Flugblatt von 1601 informiert über das Denkmal, das 1596 von der Stadt Paris zur Erinnerung an den Mordversuch Jean Châtels auf Heinrich IV. von Frankreich errichtet wurde.
Die Vorlage für den Kupferstich stammt möglicherweise von Jakob de Weert (Vgl. MOIIF00916).
