Der Stich mit dem Porträt Adam Friedrich Oesers (1717-1799) entstand nach einem Gemälde von Anton Graff, das sich heute in der Hamburger Kunsthalle befindet. Als Winckelmann 1754 nach Nötznitz bei Dresden in die Dienste des Grafen von Bünau trat, nahm er Zeichenunterricht bei Oeser. 1755 zieht Winkelmann mit Oeser in die Dresdner Neustadt, Königstr. 17. Später wird Oeser ebenfalls Zeichenlehrer des jungen Goethe sein. Bezeichnet: Ad. Friedr. Oeser u.l.: A. Graff. del. u.r.: C. Böhme fe.
