Description

Der Relief zeigt ein Fragment eines tanzenden Jünglings im Profil (WG-CS-KE-65), den sog. "Wagemut", einer Kopie eines Reliefs vom rechten Portal der Berliner Bauakademie.
Christa Sammler verwendete das Motiv, das auf Schinkels Idee zurückgeht und 1832-1836 von Friedrich Tieck oder August Kiß geschaffen wurde, zwei Mal: 1974 für ein Brunnenrelief in Potsdam-Charlottenhof, 1973-1976 für die Ausstattung der Weinstube des Palastes der Republik in Ostberlin (ausführlich s. WG-CS-KE-65).
